Middle knobs on DHF are longer so there is more traction assisting the side knobs in turns, the wider center tread knobs on the DHR are there for braking traction. I would go Aggressor 2.3 rear, DHF 2.3 front if you’re concerned about a better rolling tire on rear. WebI run an Assegai EXO+ w/ MaxxGrip compound in front and a DHR II DD w/ MaxxTerra in the back. I'm 210 lbs and ride frequently in tech, sharp rocks, and dry terrain. My reasoning for picking EXO+ in front and DD in back is because I'm much more likely to puncture or slice the sidewall in the back.
