Cryptsetup loopback
WebThere are two types of randomness cryptsetup/LUKS needs. One type (which always uses /dev/urandom) is used for salt, AF splitter and for wiping removed keyslot. Second type is used for volume (master) key. You can switch between using /dev/random and /dev/urandom here, see --use-random and --use-urandom options. WebIf you do not provide your key, password will not be generated, and you will receive a warning. Enter the path where you saved the key: $ sudo cryptsetup -f ~/.ssh/id_rsa.pub -passwd ~/.ssh/id_rsa.pub This will print you your key's fingerprint, as well as a message telling you if the key was correctly stored.
